Beyond the ordinary

Hi, I'm Kimberly, and my interest in fundraising isn't simply professional, I've experienced it firsthand.

Over the years, I've been involved in fundraising for projects and organizations where the need was very real and the resources were limited. I know how exhausting it can be to continually come up with new ideas, organize campaigns, rally supporters, and ask people to give.

And if I'm being really honest, asking for support can be quite humbling.

When you're passionate about a cause, you know how important the work is. But that doesn't necessarily translate to making it any easier to ask for support.

I've experienced that firsthand through almost 20 years of my humanitarian work in Kenya, where I had the privilege of helping develop projects from the ground up, including:

• co-founding two primary schools serving over 550 students

• running child sponsorship programs

• sustainable farming initiatives

• clean water projects

• establishing electricity in rural communities

• building homes for widows and orphans

None of those things happened because one person had all the answers.

They happened because people were willing to believe, participate, give, and work together.

That's What Drew Me to This Opportunity

I saw a reimagined approach, one that could give organizations another way to raise funds without having to continually start from scratch with another event or campaign.

When people come together around something that matters, their support can create a tremendous difference and together we can do great things.

And I want to help organizations discover it.
